Is there a Song in Your Heart?

Hello and welcome to Delightful Details!!
Well, it's officially the New Year, 2010 can you believe it? Just about every blog I've read today has commented on how fast the last 10 years have flown by. I say how about the last twenty!!

Well, I'm choosing this year to sing rather than grumble and I'm trusting the Lord to keep a song in my heart and so that's why I've chosen this sentiment on my card for this weeks challenge over at KL Stampin' n Scrappin'. Great sketch and I thank you ladies for the inspiration!! Be sure and check out the blog and see the other creations as well as play along. There will be a prize given next Saturday so check it out!

Here is the sketch (KLSNS)

Here is my card!

this pic really shows the glimmer mist!

Here is the recipe for my card:
Paper: Bazzill cardstock (blue) White Linen cardstock (heavy) not sure of the manufacturer.
Stamp: Unity Stamp Co. "Birdie Inspiration set
Ink: Distress Ink, faded jeans and peeled paint, I used a blending tool and there is lots of blending of the two inks; Archival Ink, coffee (on the sentiment and swirl stamp)
Embellishments: ribbon for bow; Creative Charms, pearls;
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Robins Egg Blue (on the oval)
Tools: Cuttlebug, two folders: dotted swiss and birds and swirls; Marvy Uchida: Scalloped Oval; EK Success, corner rounder

Be sure to check back I will be sharing some exciting news about a blog hop coming on January 8th featuring the Design Team at Christian Paper Crafts! We have a fantastic sponsor this month and since it was announced in the newsletter and I'm assuming it's okay to share here!! Gina K Designs is our sponsor for January!! I'm so excited and I've been creating like crazy! Can't wait to share!! I'll be giving more info later on this weekend and sharing who our Guest Designer is for January!! You will love her (if you don't already!!)

Thanks so much for looking! Don't forget to keep a song in your heart!
