Word Art Wednesday Challenge

Hello Delightful Friends and Family,
Happy New Year to you all. Praying for a year of blessing and drawing closer to the Lord.

We are starting a new year of challenges for Word Art Wednesday and we have some fabulous sponsors for 2019!  It's going to be a great year!  This challenge sponsor is Clearly Besotted.  Here is the link to their blog for some inspiration and be sure and check out their cute January release!

Here is my card for this weeks Anything Goes, Family Friendly Challenge:

I've used the Penny Black stamp called Cones and Berries, and stamped on watercolor paper using Tomboy and Distress Markers on the stamp then spritzed with water.  I used PrimaMarketing watercolors (Decadent Pies) to create the background.  The pattern paper (Carta Bella - The Great Outdoors 6x6 pad) was trimmed to fit the card base.  I printed the Scripture Art on 67# white card stock and diecut it using the Cross Stitched Square by Cottage Cutz.

The Scripture for this challenge is Ephesians 6:11, which is our reminder to keep ourselves protected and guarded from the enemy of our soul by putting on God's armor.  You should read all of chapter 6, it gives us a description of each piece of armor that protects us.  It reminds us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness which wars against us. It's the spiritual wickedness in high places which tries to discourage and cause us to reject the love and salvation of our Lord.  But God is greater and has provided us spiritual weaponry to help us to be victorious over the powers of darkness! It gives us the strength to stand strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS MIGHT!  So thankful for God's faithfulness.
I chose the lamppost on my card to represent God shining His light in our dark world.  It's amazing how a small amount of light dispels the darkness so I pray we will continue to walk in the light and be the light that Jesus has called us to be. Be encouraged this year and know that the Lord will be with us and I trust He will give us the boldness to shine brightly for Him.

Thanks for visiting!

Word Art Wednesday - O Little Town of Bethlehem

Hello Friends!
Hope you are having a delightful day. What happened to November? It just came and went. Now, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere but my house!  I still have my fall decor in place, yikes! Just a little bit on the busy side but my dear husband said he'd get Christmas stuff out of the shed for me today.  One thing though, I am ahead in my shopping for the kids and grandkids. Also, I'm in the home stretch for the Christmas luncheon at the church for the Ladies Ministry this Saturday and after that I will feel just a tad bit less stressed!  I'm expecting about 25 ladies for lunch, it's my way of thanking them for their prayer support and encouragement throughout the year.

Today is also Word Art Wednesday!  Another "Anything Goes - Family Friendly challenge.  Our sponsors for the two week challenge are Gina Marie Designs and Cutting Cafe.  Big thanks for our super awesome sponsors and also a big thanks to Karen Letchworth who leads us each challenge and is our faithful blog administrator.

Here is my card for this weeks challenge:

I've use a Penny Black stamp called  "Tweet Wreath" (I didn't use the bird stamp, only the wreath).
This stamp is both solid and outlined so I chose to use my Oxide Distress Inks (Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint, Lucky Clover, in that order); in the areas that were outlined I used PrimaMarketing watercolors (Decadent Pies and The Classics) to fill in the stamped area and the background.
I cut the watercolor paper to 4.5" x 4.5 and the red mat is cut 4.75" x 4.75" and the base is 5" square.
The Scripture Art was printed on white vellum.

The Scripture is from Micah 5:2 which is a prophecy concerning our Messiah Jesus Christ.  The prophet Micah declares that though Jesus would come from Bethlehem (house of God's bread - so cool, since He is the Bread of Life!), He did not begin there.  His goings forth are from eternity past. There was never a time that Jesus did not exist! (Read the Gospel of John chapter 1 and Revelation 22:13). There are so many prophecies in the Old Testament that Jesus fulfilled in regards to His coming to "dwell" among us and then to die and be raised from the dead.  He fulfilled the Word and kept the law for us.  I am so thankful that He has made us to shine like lights in this dark world. Hope you are shining brightly for Jesus this Christmas season.  Look for those opportunities to spread good will and the good news!  Have a blessed week.
Thanks for visiting!

Be strong therefore! WAW #332-333

Hello Delightful friends and family!

Word Art Wednesday our Anything Goes - Family Friendly challenge #332-333 starts today! It's a two week challenge and you can link up 5 new projects a week for a chance of winning a prize.  Our sponsor this week is Winnie & Walter be sure and check out their shop and blog for lots of creative inspiration! Maybe you will be the winner of the $25 gift card. They are involved in the Mega Sponsor Blog Hop that ends this Friday (May 4) with lots of prizes so check that out too.

I really enjoyed coloring this Penny Black stamp (Aviary) with my Zig Clean Color Brushes and look forward to using it again, maybe coloring with Prismacolor pencils or Copics.  I stamped with Archival Tree Branch to give a more natural feel, no dark lines. I've used Strathmore 140# cold press watercolor paper. The only thing I would change is to print the sentiment on vellum.  It just looks a little odd in the photo.  It's not quite so bad in person, but it does take away from the roof line on the birdhouse. Perhaps if I had resized it a bit smaller it would have been better.  I'm still learning the art of digital images!  I usually have the Scripture Art printed in a couple different sizes ahead of time so I never know how it's going to work on the card!
Note to self: print on vellum and have a variety of sizes to work with!

Here is the Scripture art that is free to use if you'd like to use it in the challenge:

What a wonderful promise to King Asa in 2 Chronicles 15.  He was encouraged by these words and continued to remove the idols and restored the altar of the Lord.  A lesson for us for sure.  It's not always easy to do what's right in the Lord's sight especially in our culture. People mock and try to cause you trouble.  But if you seek the Lord, the Word of God says "He will be found by you" .  I'm so glad that even when we fail, God truly does show us grace and mercy. Of course we need to repent and return to Him to receive that grace and mercy! We are to be "strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" and when we remember that He is faithful and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, it enables us to stand strong and be obedient to His Word. So I want to encourage you today to be strong in the Lord Jesus and when you are feeling weak and inadequate (that's not really a bad thing) He then can be your strength and will be with you in the work He has called you to do. To God be the all the glory - His faithfulness endures to every generation!

Thanks for visiting today!!

No Line Coloring Part 2 - 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hey there Delightful Friends and Family!

Here is the final coloring of this poppy stamp from Penny Black.  I don't think I mentioned in my last post that I originally stamped this with Distress Ink Antique Linen.  I'm not going to mess with this anymore.  Next time you see this it will be on a card with a sentiment!  I've added another layer of paint and lightly colored the background blue and gray with a little bit of negative painting in a darker gray.
This is Day 6 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge! Just getting this in under the wire!

Thanks so much for visiting!  Hope you are having a colorful day!

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.  Galatians 5:13

No Line Coloring - 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hello Delightful friends and family!
Crazy weather here in northern California!   Lots of hail and even more snow in the lower mountain ranges. So I'm now staying in and working on my no line coloring technique!  This is really hard for me and I really want to learn this skill. I was hoping to share this  technique in a class next month but I don't think I'm ready to do that.  Maybe after lots and lots of practice, which means lots and lots of coloring!  I still need to add another layer of color and figure out the background on this.  Maybe tomorrow I will have that done and ready to post (at least the coloring portion).
This is Day 5 of the 30 day coloring challenge.

Ingredients:
Stamp: Penny Black
Paper: 140lb Strathmore watercolor paper
Watercolor: Simply Art 36 cake paint set
Brushes #2, #3, #6, #0/2

Thanks so much for visiting and have a color happy day!
(the sun is peeking through, I tell ya, it's crazy weather time)

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10

May God's Grace Abound in You!

An early Merry Christmas to my Delightful Friends and Family!

Not sure how Christmas tends to sneak up on me but it does every year.  I think I'm ahead of the game and BAM, I'm feeling overwhelmed and watching the days and hours go by so quickly.  I guess it's the last minute things that tend to add up that due me in! I keep adding to the to do list. I think I need to actually write out the list so that I know I'm actually making some progress when I have the pleasure of crossing out one of the "to do's"! I just spent the last two evening uploading over 850 pictures of the grandkids from this year.  Then I whittled it down to 593 and edited them. I've given my daughter and daughter-in-law photo albums of the current year for a Christmas gift, so that they will have pics of the kids I've done that the last 3 years and now if I don't do it I will hear about it!  Now if I was smart I would do this monthly so that it wouldn't be so overwhelming but... that's just not my style, it's one of those things that I've left to the last minute.  Okay, so next year I'm going to try and do better.

Well here is my card for our Word Art Wednesday Challenge.  It's the last challenge for 2016 (#262 and #263)! Hope you can find some time to squeeze in some crafty time and join us! Someone will win a $25 gift certificate from Simon Says Stamp!!  That would certainly motivate me to play!  Thanks to our sponsors for this past year and thanks to all our participants (and there have been many!!)

I've kept this card pretty simple and it's one that could be easily duplicated. It is a square card 5.5" x 5.5" which is just a bit larger than an A2 card so I will have to make an envelope for this one but I know 6x6" envelopes are available. The stamp set I've used is from Penny Black (Winter Joy) and I've used Copic Markers to color it.  The image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The pattern paper is from Carta Bella Christmas Delivery Collection.

Here is a close up so that you can see how I've applied Glossy Accents to the berries.

Don't forget the Scripture Art is free so be sure and go to the Word Art Wednesday Blog to grab it from there!

What a perfect gift, God's grace!  He is teaching us daily to live in contentment and to be abounding in grace so that we may extend His grace to others through giving of ourselves whether it be our time, money or even our ear to someone who needs a compassionate listener.  He wants us to abound not only in grace but in every good work which He has ordained for us before the foundation of the world.  It's wonderful to have His Spirit lead us and grow us into vessels fit for His service but it's by His grace and strength that we are able to fulfill His will and purposes to glorify His name.

I probably won't be back until after Christmas so I hope you are all blessed with a peaceful, wonderful day celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks so much for visiting!

PS Thanks Shaz for your tip in the comment (Ginny's card was beautiful) and congrats on winning the digital images from All Dressed Up (they have adorable images to color!)

His Wisdom and Knowledge - Word Art Wednesday #254 and #255

Hello Delightful Friends and Family!

Here is my card for Word Art Wednesday this week!  I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out, it's a very loose watercolor technique but I'm happy with the final result.   Below the picture I have the step by step instructions.
This weeks sponsor is Simon Says Stamp!  So visit Word Art Wednesday and play along. You can link up 5 new projects that are family friendly for a chance to win the $25 gift card!  Have you seen Simon Says Stamp's new release (here is link to their blog hop with lots of inspiration! I want the new Believe die set.  Love it!

Word Art Wednesday's FREE SCRIPTURE ART!

Ingredients to card:
Stamp: Penny Black: Berries and Cones (yeah, kind of interesting name for this stamp since it has a lamppost in the set.)
Paper: Strathford 140lb cold press watercolor paper
Inks: (Background - Distress Inks Chipped Sapphire and Dusty Concord)
Markers: Tombow - N55,055, 847.
Misc. black card stock, Neenah bright white c/s (base); Mini Mister, #2 round paint brush; #12 round brush, Wink of Stella clear. MISTI

Step 1: Position watercolor paper and stamp in the MISTI.
Step 2: Using the markers, color the stamp  (I used dark gray, yellow and red) spray lightly using clean water in the Mini Mister.
Step 3: Using same markers, do some touch up, add more color onto paper and blend with brush. I also used Distress Ink Black Soot for some contrast.  Dry.
Step 4: Use the yellow marker to give the top area of the lamppost a "glow" Dry completely.
Step 5: Wet on wet technique - wet paper with brush and clean water around the lamppost without touch it.  Begin to drop in the Chipped Saphire ink, then the Dusty Concord.
Step 6: With small brush, add more of the Chipped Sapphire around lamppost for shadow effect.
Step 7: Dry completely, then add splatters of clean water or use a Mini Mister, let it set on paper for about 20  seconds then blot with paper towel.  Dry completely then add Wink of Stella to yellow ink.
Step 8: Make black mat for Scripture art.  Assemble card, pop up the Scripture art with dimensional adhesive.

The Scripture this week is from Romans 11:33, I encourage you to read all of chapter 11 in the book of Romans to get a good grasp at what the apostle Paul is saying in this verse. He is explaining how God's ways, His wisdom and judgement are so much higher than ours.  His plan was to use the unbelief of the Jews to bring the Gentiles into a relationship with Him.  But He has not put away the Jews, His covenant with them cannot be broken but He allowed the things to happen so that we could be grafted in/adopted into the family of God. That was always His plan!  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16). His love for us and His wisdom and knowledge is so deep that it amazes me.  He is a faithful Creator. To God be all the glory!
I thought the lamppost was a good image to use with this Scripture verse.  We cannot see as God sees but what we can see is what God allows us to see - the lamppost gives off light but it's definitely not a spot light or a crafter's Ott light is it?  The more we get into the Word of God though and seek Him for revelation/understanding in the Word, the more He allows us to see Jesus develop (especially in the Old Testament) but sometimes our spiritual eyesight is dim, until we turn up the light! Just as the word says "here a little, there a little, precept upon precept, line upon line" (Isaiah 28:10 Natalie's paraphrase) we keep seeking Him and He is faithful to reward us with knowledge and wisdom. I certainly can use all the wisdom and knowledge I can get, especially considering the day and age we are in!

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful week!

Expectation - Word Art Wednesday #246 & 247

Hello Delightful Friends and Family!

I loved coloring this image from Penny Black!  It's called Good Neighbors, isn't it cute?  It was very fun to color with my Zig Clean Color Markers. I used Distress inks to color the background (Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass using a wet on wet technique).
I think I will be making some more cards with this stamp and changing out the sentiments for a gift set for perhaps one of my sisters.  (shhh... don't tell)

Well it's time for Word Art Wednesday's Family Friendly Challenge (#246 & 247).  This week our Scripture Art is from Psalm 62:5.  It's free to download and use!  Also, our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp!!

I've used 140lb Strathmore cold press watercolor paper and stamped with Archival Jet Black Ink (using my MISTI) and then used a variety of Zig Clean Color markers to color.  I've used a bright yellow card stock to mat the watercolor paper and my A2 base is white Neenah 80lb card stock.

As I was meditating on this weeks Scripture verse I was drawn to the word "expectation".  That word is filled with hope!  Not only is it my expectation but it's literally connected to God like a cord.  I love the comfort that thought gives me.  Connected to God - He has me in His hands and no one can snatch me out of them (John 10:28-29). I can rest in Him and fully hope and trust in His provision in every area of my life for He truly is my defense and I shall not be moved.  This chapter is filled with hope and my hope is that you will take time to read it.  It is only 12 verses and I know it will be a blessing to you.

Thanks so much for visiting! Have a wonderful week.

Have Faith in God - Word Art Wednesday and the 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hello Delightful Friends and Family,
Hope you are having a fun summer so far! We've sure been enjoying the warm but not too hot weather! Had a great time a couple of Saturdays ago attending our local Christian music festival called Jesus Rocks the Redwoods.  It was held near Richardson's Grove, right in the middle of the beautiful redwood groves on the Eel River, here in northern California.  It was a fun time, our church had a children's ministry booth and it went over well. The little ones enjoyed getting crafty!

Well, it's time for another Word Art Wednesday Challenge!Over 360 entries in our last challenge!  Thanks so much for playing along in our family friendly anything goes challenge.

Here is my card for challenge #242 & 243:

I've stamped with Versamark and embossed with Ranger white embossing powder the flowers and leaves (Dahlias -Penny Black).  But before even getting started I made masks using the Inkadinkadoo Masking Paper for each flower and the leaf.  I've stamped and embossed the two side flowers first, added the masks and then stamped the leaves. The paper I've used is Strathmore 140 lb cold press watercolor paper and then I've colored the images using Distress Inks (Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint and Picked Raspberry), I trimmed the paper to 4" x 5.25" and then mat with black card stock and adhered to an A2 Neenah white card stock base. Our Scripture Art (free art Scripture art for you!!) this week is from Mark 11:22 and I've printed it on Neenah 80lb white paper and diecut it from the Cottage Cutz Oval Cross-stitched die with my faithful old Cuttlebug!

Wonderful inspiring verse this week (as always!) from the Gospel of Mark.  It happens to be the book our Ladies Group from church is studying, we just started the Lisa Harper DVD series called "The Gospel of Mark - The Jesus We're Aching For" (Lifeway).
I appreciate the words of Jesus telling me to "have faith in God" - the faith I have in myself is flawed but God is not flawed, my faith in my faith is flawed but He is perfect in every way.  He is unparalleled in His compassion, mercy, grace and love.  I can trust and rely and believe God. He is faithful.  Even when the answer seems to be no when we have asked and believed for I can be assured that God has something so much better for me.  So have faith in God.

Thanks so much for visiting! Have a blessed week and don't forget to play along at Word Art Wednesday with us!

I really wanted to play in this 30 day challenge more often.
Thank you so much Kathy for all of your inspiration and creativity!

Word Art Wednesday - 230 and 231 A Gentle Whisper

Hello Delightful Friends and Family
Hope all is going well and now that Spring is in full bloom I hope you are enjoying the outdoors as well as getting some time in your craftroom. I've been getting all my sample cards for my June classes finished so I've been very busy.  Just haven't had time to post them.  However, they are posted over at the Scrapper's Edge classes page.  I still have one class in May left to teach next week then 3 in June. I'm still in the planning stages for July!

Today I get to share a card for the Word Art Wednesday Family Friendly - Anything Goes Challenge #230, #231.  Remember this is a two week challenge.

Our sponsor this challenge is: Freckled Fawn and Papercraft Memories.  A huge thank you to our sponsors each month!

Here's my card:

This is the free Word art that we would love for you to use in the challenge, of course it's not required but it would be fun to see your ideas with it.

Here are the ingredients to my card:
Stamp: Penny Black Gentle Whisper (brush stroke style)
Peeless Water colors
Pretty Pink Posh sequins (sweet pea mix)
Ranger Water color paper (I stamped on the smooth side this time)
Neenah Bright white (80lb) card stock
Bazzill purple
Archival Tree Branch ink
WRMK Genius Die (came with cutting plates)

I stamped the image using the Tree Branch Ink and then watercolored the piece not knowing for sure how the Peerless would react and cover the ink but I think it turned our nicely.  The die (a set) was included with the Genius cutting plates and I inked around the edges with Distress inks (Wilted Violet and Chipped Sapphire).  FYI: This was the stamp I used last month in a class!  The ladies loved the stamp and the technique they learned in class!

The Word Art comes from Karen Murray from this months sponsor  Papercraft Memories.
A wonderful verse from Psalm 33.   It reminds us that to every generation the Word of God and the purpose of the Lord stands forever.  How long is forever?  Forever!! His redemptive plan was put into place before the foundation of the world.   He wants us to know His thoughts and heart towards us, and we are able to through His Word.  The Lord constantly reminds us through the writer in the Book of Psalms to seek Him.  Lately, I've been memorizing portions of   Psalm 63 so that I might know Him better.  I encourage you to seek Him early and to be thankful for His faithfulness. We live in a perplexing time, cling close and follow after the Lord Jesus - He is our Rock and salvation!

Thanks for visiting!  Have a blessed week.

Snowy - December class

Hello Delightful friends and family!
The craft boutique is behind me now (whew...) so I thought I'd just post something for fun.
These are two of the cards that we are making in my class in December at Scrapper's Edge in Eureka.

Isn't this the cutest snowman? (Penny Black - Snowy). I've colored them with Copic Markers and played around with my colorless blender and used some fun techniques for the background and plaid scarves and hats.   Paper Smooches sentiment, Uni-ball Signa white pen for the background dots, Micron pen for the framing, white embossing powder finish off the supplies I've used.

Thanks for looking!!

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.  Colossians 3:15

Clean and Simple Soft Floral Card - WAW 184

Hello Delightful friends and family!
Here is a card I've made to share at Word Art Wednesday #184 (Anything Goes and family friendly)

I CASE'd this card from the Penny Black Simplicity Blog.  It was super simple and I plan to try it again and use different colors and do a bit more blending with the Copic Markers.  The stamp is called Softly and I embossed with Versamark Ink and used white embossing powder from Ranger.  The Scripture is this weeks digital verse from Word Art Wednesday and I printed it on white vellum and mounted it on the blue card stock which I popped up with dimensionals.  I've used Copics B21 and B23 and the blue card stock is from my stash.

Thanks so much for visiting! Have a fantastic day.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Sunshine and Smiles

Hello Delightful friends and family!!
What a beautiful autumn day I woke up to this morning!!  September and October here on the north coast of California is always such a pretty season.  This verse on the card certainly matched up with today that's for sure!  The leaves are turning, the pumpkins are getting huge, the sunflowers are in bloom and we are having some gorgeous weather to enjoy and it really makes me "stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God!"  I hope you are enjoying your day and considering the glory of God as seen in His beautiful creation.

This is a beautiful digital image and sentiment is from CDS (which is about to close up shop on Sept. 30 so get over there quick!) it is called Sunshine and Smiles.  I love sunflowers and this image was a delight to color! I still consider myself a novice with the Copic Markers but I sure enjoy coloring with them.

I thought this sentiment from Penny Black Stamps (Friendship) was perfect to coordinate for the inside of the card.
Other Ingredients:
Designer Paper: Simple Stories (Harvest Lane)
Inks: Kodak Printer ink (digi); Distress Inks (Vintage Photo and Peacock Feathers); Archival Ink (coffee)
Ribbon: United Ribbons seambinding (I dyed it with the Distress inks mentioned above)
Card Stock: Neenah bright white; Bazzill

Thanks for visiting and this card will be entered at
Word Art Wednesday #99 Anything Goes

Birthday Blessings - WAW#98

Hello Delightful Friends and Family!
It's the middle of the week, can you believe it!?  I read somewhere yesterday that there are 99 days before Christmas! Crazy, but now it's 98 days (ha!) I made your day, huh? I'm determined to enjoy and not be stressed this season (as we often can allow to happen - shame on me!) Of course, I need the Lord's help with this but I'm sure that His will is that I keep Him at the forefront always and keep in mind that I'm not to be anxious for anything.

This birthday card was made for a friend and hooray (!)  it's already in the mail, on time!

I will be entering this in the WORD ART WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE #98 (Anything Goes)

The Stamp Sets used on the front are Evergreen (SU!) and Friendship (Penny Black); I've colored the tree with Copic Markers.  The other inks used are Memento, Tuxedo Black; Distress Ink, (Peeled Paint, Antique Linen, Vintage Photo); The Designer Paper is Simple Stories and Card Stock from Bazzill and Neenah. The Notched Border Die is from My Favorite Things Die-Namics.

Inside sentiment is from the Penny Black Stamp Set, Friendship.

Thanks so much for visiting!!

He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper. Psalm 1:3

Happy Birthday!

Hello Delightful friends and family!
Hope you are having a great Saturday!  I'm heading to town soon but wanted to get this birthday card posted right away so I can get it in the mail.  My dear friends birthday is coming up this week so I may get this card to her on time!  Surprise, surprise!!

I've used three different stamp sets for this card.  The first stamp is the most obvious, it's Wheelbarrow Marci from La-La Land Crafts.  Isn't she the cutest! She reminds my of my granddaughter Addy who loves to help me with yard work.  I've colored Marci with Copic Markers, paper pieced her boots and then added Glossy Accents(Ranger) to them for "waterproofing" (tee-hee).  I've also used Liquid Pearls(Ranger) to add dimension to the flowers and her overall buttons.
The second stamp set is the sentiment from Penny Black (Friendship - "T For Transparent") this set has some wonderful sentiments! I've stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black and used the MFT Die-Namics Fishtail STAX die to frame it out on Neenah card stock.
The last stamp set is the Prima Marketing Mixed Media Stamp by Julie Nutting to creat the flower background and I've used Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and a Worn Lipstick Distress Pen (both from Ranger) which I used to accent some of the flowers directly on the stamp before placing it on the paper, then I used Bazzill card stock to mat the layer. I used Liquid Pearls in the center of the flowers of the background paper, it's real subtle and if I was to do it again, I'd probably not add anything.
The pink plaid designer paper I used is from Cosmo Cricket (Tea for Two Mini Bloc).

Here is a peek at the inside of the card.  I've used one of the sentiments from the Penny Black Friendship set and the border punch is from Martha Stewart.

I'll be entering this card in the Sister Act Card Challenge #24
And

Thanks so much for visiting!

According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.  1 Corinthians 3:10-11
