Love in Action - Word Art Wednesday #106

Hello Delightful Friends and Family!
Hope you are having an awesome day!! Here is my second project for Word Art Wednesday (Anything Goes) Challenge blog.  We would love for you to  link up and join us at the WAW challenge with a Family Friendly project!

I just love the digital image by Mo Manning called "You're My Best" I've colored her with my Copic Markers, then fussy cut her out and used dimensionals to pop her up. I used a pink Spica pen on her nails, the heart on her skirt and the teddy bear's ears but it's only sparkly in person, the photo isn't picking it up.

The designer paper is We R Memory Keepers (Happy Camper 6x6 paper pad), I love the colors in this collection and it came in my August Taylored Expressions Key Ingredient Kit.  I diecut the Scripture verse with the My Favorite Things Die-Namics, Fishtail Flags Stax.
Card Stock: Bazzill and Neenah.  Ink: Distress Ink, Vintage photo (around the edges)

This is the inside of the card and I've used the MFT Die-Namics Fishtail flags Stax and the Spellbinder Nestabilities, Wonky Reverse Rectangle die; Ink: Archival, Russet; Stamp Set: Taylored Expressions, "Thankful" set.

Thanks for visiting!

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17

School Theme - Sunday Style #7

Hello delightful friends and family,
Here is a card I did a while back but never posted.  I'm entering it in Amy's Sunday Style for school related projects.  This is a Mo Manning Digital image (Yale)  that I colored with Copic markers.

Here's a homework notebook I decorated with a library card, stickers, tag and stamps and distress inks.

That's it for me today!!  Hope you all have a great weekend, it's coming up fast!

Cards for a Friend

Hello Delightful Friends and Family!
I finally finished the cards I wanted to make for my friends in Nebraska, now I just need to get them into the mail today.  Aren't these images by Mo Manning just so sweet!  I hope Tiffany enjoys them.  The pattern paper, card stock base (Bazzill), ribbon and buttons come from my Key Ingredient kits (Taylored Expressions).  I've colored the images with Copic Markers and the "Bear Hugs" sentiment is from Taylored Expressions (Buddy Bear stamp set) and the medium scallop border die is also from TE.

This is Zola (Mo Manning, digi)

Well, that's it for me for now, I'll have a card later to post for my mom.  It's her birthday today, she is 74 years young!

Card for a friend and a little more...

Hello Delightful Friends and Family,
It's been almost two weeks since I've posted and I've been one busy chicka! My hubby celebrated a birthday, we had guest minister a week ago Sunday and our friend/'lil bro (spiritually speaking)  from Nebraska was here ministering 3 nights last week at the church and he also stays with us so that has kept me away from the craft room for almost a week.  It was a good time as usual and I told him I'd make some cards for his wife Tiffany and so this is the first one I've made.  I'm in the process of making 4 of these using digital images by Mo Manning.  This darling little girl's name is Adele.  Isn't she the cutest thing?  I've not done much coloring with darker skin tones or highlighting black hair using Copic Markers so I was pretty pleased in how this turned out.  I wish the day had been sunny when I took the picture, we've been having a lot of rainy days here lately.
Here are the other ingredients :  Paper: Basic Grey (Kissing Booth); Bazzill card stock (the card base); Neenah (bright white for printing out the image) I've used the BG solid color (Kissing Booth collection) and dry embossed with the Victoria folder from Provo Craft, then rubbed with Distress Ink (black soot).  The digi Adele has been diecut out with Spellbinders Nestie scallop oval and sponged with Distress Ink (worn lipstick).  The black dot accents were created by using a Viva Pearl pen and I used an awl tool to apply the small dots. The ribbon is from American Crafts.  The finished card is 4.25 x 5.5.

I watched the movie Courageous (from the creators of Fireproof) the other night.  What a powerful message for men and fathers (moms, too!).  The Christian men in our area are getting ready to have an event called "Men of Action" in June.  Two keynote speakers (Tim Thomason - Nature Blinds and Jim Morris - former MLB pitcher and the movie "Rookie") will be featured and it will be a two day event.  It's wonderful to see the men from all the area churches come together in unity to glorify our Savior Jesus Christ and have a desire to mentor men and be a role model that points them to Christ and His Word.
Have a blessed day!

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of the them that slept.    1 Corinthians 15:20

A Hair Raisin' Birthday!

It's the weekend, hooray!!  Welcome delightful friends and family!
Here is a card I did for my niece who turned the BIG 30.  I'm great at making the cards and not so great in getting them mailed on time.  As a matter of fact I've had this card for over a month and did not post because dear niece reads my blog on occasion and would have seen it.  Hopefully she's received it now and I'm safe to post!

I'm a big fan of Mo Manning digital stamps and this little darling (Angelina's Balloons) I thought was perfect for the hair raising event!  (Not sure if it was more hair raising for my niece or my sister! Ha!)  I've used Bazzill card stock, Basic Grey (Kioshi collection) designer paper and the sentiment is computer generated, Martha Stewart border punch and EK Success corner punch were used for the decorative touches and American Crafts ribbon.  I've colored it with my Copics (of course!)
