Word Art Wednesday Challenge - Happy Valentines Day!

Hello Delightful Friends and Happy Valentines Day!
So glad you made it here to see this weeks challenge card for Word Art Wednesday.  We have a delightful sponsor The Stamps of Life ($25 gift card), check out the store, the blog and the videos, lots of inspiration!
The challenge is Anything Goes - Family Friendly and the Scripture Art is from 1 Peter 4:8.  I'm kind of a clean and simple stamping kind of crafter and this card was pretty simple and I've given the directions below. Hope you'll check out the challenge blog and join us for an opportunity to win the $25 gift card to Stamps of Life! You can upload 5 new projects a week and the challenge is up for two weeks at a time.  You don't have to use the Scripture Art but if you like it, you can grab it at Word Art Wednesday.

Step 1:  Choose a colored card stock to use and cut it to 5.25 by 4" make sure you have a coordinating color ink and a brush or dauber. (I've used Rose Water by Taylored Expressions)
Step 2: Choose an embossing folder (Sketched Hearts 3-D by TE) emboss the colored paper, I used a Big Shot.
Step 3: With a dauber or brush, use the matching ink to blend over the embossed images (in this case it's the hearts)
Step 4: Adhere the embossed paper to a card base (A2)  I've used the Rose Water card stock to keep with the monochromatic color theme.
Step 5:  Stamp a sentiment on Vellum (I've used our Scripture Art image that was copied onto Vellum), then die cut using a Heart Shaped Die, I've used the Stitched Heart die set.
Carefully adhere to top of the card.
Step 6: Add embellishments in odd numbers, I've used clear Bits & Pieces (TE)

The nice thing about this design is that you can change out the color or theme and have a pretty simple card, I love the embossed images which add some delightful but simple dimension and texture without a lot of work.  Hope you like it and will try it out.

Thanks for visiting!!
