Word Art Wednesday - Blessings with Stamp Simply

Hello Delightful Friends!
Well it's officially Autumn and my favorite time of the year, we get to see all the gorgeous fall colors and enjoy the cooler weather.  What a masterpiece every Fall brings! Not to mention everything pumpkin and spice 💗

Today is our Word Art Wednesday Challenge and we have a wonderful sponsor who has been so faithful each year!  Stamp Simply has a wonderful line of stamps, dies and accessories = Keep it Simple - Make it Pretty is their theme! Hope you'll play along in our Anything Goes - Family Friendly challenge that lasts two weeks and you can upload your new creations (5 new each week) for a chance to win the prize!  Check it out HERE.

Today I am sharing a card that will show appreciation for Pastors and Ministers, October is traditionally Pastor Appreciation Month and this goes right along with our Scripture Art from Romans 10.

Here is my card using the Stamp Simply set called "Wreaths" (Christmas & Fall) and coordinating Die, the word Blessing is one of the sentiments included in this set.  I've also used the Pastor & Ministry Appreciation Stamp set that includes many Scripture verses of encouragement. I've stamped using Versafine ink (Sepia) right onto the pineapple card stock and the honey card stock.  The jute rope is from Celebrate It.  Card stock: Pineapple, Toffee (card base) and Honey (Taylored Expressions) and the pattern paper is from my hug supply of fall paper scraps.

Thanks so much for visiting!  Have a blessed week.

Word Art Wednesday - Stamp Simply Sponsor!

Hello Delightful Friends,

A new week and challenge at Word Art Wednesday!  Our wonderful sponsor this time is
Stamp Simply and Ribbon Store be sure and check out all the new products and wonderful inspiration (be sure and check out our own Karen Letchworth on the May 23 post over there!!)

Here is my card this week using the Scripture Art and the Coffee or Tea die set from Stamp Simply.

I have to admit I struggled a bit with getting the Scripture and the design to come together and I finally gave up and decided to just size the Scripture art to fit the cup die and printed it on vellum.  Not sure if it's really a verse that I would send out as a card to someone, to be perfectly honest with you.  So I may revamp later on with a more appropriate verse to fit an occasion.

Here are the ingredients:
Stamp Simply die (Coffee or Tea)
Photo Play Paper 6x6 pad "Crafting with My Gnomies
Taylored Expressions: Gold Bits and Pieces
Stash: Yellow button, flower die with leaves
The border around was made by die cutting with an A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate (TE) and then cutting to fit around so that the stripes would go in the direction I desired.
I embellished the cup and also die cut multiples and glued them together to give more dimension (including the handle).  I used a yellow card base to brighten it up a bit.

Thanks so much for visiting and commenting.
Have a blessed week!

Word Art Wednesday - Psalm 33:18 and Stamp Simply Ribbon Store

Hello Delightful Friends!
Time for another fabulous Anything Goes - Family Friendly challenge for the Word Art Wednesday Blog. This weeks sponsor is the wonderful Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and owner Sharon Johnson (thank you Sharon!).

Be sure and check out their blog HERE for more creative  inspiration

Here is my card for this weeks challenge. The sponsor's stamp set I've used is the Seasonal Wreath: Spring and Summer.  I've stamped the vine wreath onto the paper after stamping a background, then on a separate piece of Desert Storm Neenah card stock I stamped the flower portion of the wreath, colored it and fussy cut it out. I stamped it again and using Key Lime Ink and a Blender Brush to color and  then fussy cut just the main 4 leaves carefully to add to the wreath under the main flower section.

Other ingredients for the card:
Stamp: Wood Grain Background (Taylored Expressions)
Inks: Sweet Basil and Toffee (Taylored Expressions
Colored Pencils:Chameleon Duel Ended pencils
Dies: Petite Scalloped Rectangle Slim Stacklets - Taylored Expressions
Scripture Art printed on 67# white card stock

Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy.
Psalm 33:18

He Dwelt Among Us - Word Art Wednesday Challenge

Hello Delightful Friends!

Here is my card for this weeks challenge at Word Art Wednesday! You have two weeks to play and you can enter 5 of your creative projects, it can be cards, scrapbook pages, mixed media ,etc as long as it's family friendly!  You choose what you want to share at the WAW challenge blog.  Oh wait, it's 5 times a week.  That's ten crafty projects to share with the community.  You can use the free Scripture Art if you'd like, you can grab it over at WAW.

This weeks challenge sponsor is Stamp Simply Ribbon Store check out the store and the blog for some excellent inspiration!  I've used the stamp set called Seasonal Wreaths (Spring & Summer), they also have another set of Wreaths called Fall and Winter which I used a couple of challenges ago.  Each set has some great sentiments too.  So I tried to use just the swag stamp on the front of the card to frame out the Scripture Art and then on the inside I used the wreath with the swag and one of the sentiments as you can see below.  I just did the black and white theme, no coloring at all, which was really hard for me.  I love to color!!   But I wanted to do something different.  I first tried to do it on vellum but I kept smearing the ink, I think I would have had better results if I had used a heavier vellum and did the embossing powder/versamark/heat gun.  I love that look.  And the heavier vellum is wonderful to work with.

Inside of the card.

Thanks so much for taking a look and visiting, love to hear from you in the comments!!
Have a blessed week, please pray for the USA.

for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint.  Galatians 6:9
