Christian Paper Crafts "Giving Thanks" Blog Hop and the Pumpkin Patch

Here is my contribution to the hop.  I've embellished a kraft colored gift bag and made a matching 3x3 note card.

We spent a little time today with the grandkids at the Pumpkin Patch (sponsored by Mad River Community Hospital).  They have a garden behind the hospital and it was free for the employees (our daughter, Kelly) and their families, they even had a pony & buggy.  I'm sure there will be more pics to come!! ;-)

Here is a very simple card with a powerful verse. And what better verse to memorize and know than that the Lord is our Strength and Shield, especially during "test" time!  Of course, test time does not necesarily mean a classroom test...kwim?

It's a real joy serving as the Bible Study teacher at CPC and I'd love to invite you to join the online study in the Gospel of John with us. We've requested that the devotional and the Bible Study be available to the public so you do not have to be a member to study along. However, I invite you to join the site so that you can comment and share as the Lord leads!

We have a lovely group of ladies who have a desire to glorify the Lord Jesus with their work and encourage one another, it is such a blessing to be there!

Beat the Winter Blues Blog Hop!

Welcome to Delightful Details and the Christian Paper Crafts "Beat the Winter Blues" blog hop!

My card is definitely beating the winter blues away, it says spring all over it with the fun flowered pattern paper by Die Cuts With a View(I love all the cute flowers!). I paper pieced the center of the stamped flower by Taylored Expressions and did a bit of fussy cutting and adhered it to the blue wood grained paper (also DCWV) with dimensionals. This was a very simple design and very quick to put together even with the stitching! (A2 sized card)

Card stock, Bazzill and Neenah bright white.

Stamp: Taylored Expressions, Much Appreciated

Ink: Archival, olive and crimson; Palette, black

Tools: Kenmore Sewing Machine; Cuttlebug; Spellbinders, Nestabilities - Deckled Rectangle.
