Wondrous Things - Word Art Wednesday #199

Hello Delightful Friends and Family!
Happy Wednesday to you all! Can you believe it's September and already time for our challenge at Word Art Wednesday! This challenge is #199 and as it is every week, an Anything Goes (Family Friendly) challenge.  Hope you will check us out and play along.  We are getting ready for our #200th challenge which happens in one week!  So excited about the sponsors and prizes.  Hope you will consider linking up your project to share with us!
Here is my card for this week:

The Scripture art is free at Word Art Wednesday.  There is a new verse every week and it's not required to use to play along.  This weeks verse is from Psalm 72 and verse 18 shows us the nature  of God - He only does wondrous things! And He is worthy of praise, everything that comes our way whether we think it is good or not is filtered through His loving hands.

A little info about the card:
The colorful background was created using Ranger Watercolor Paper and I've laid down two Distress Inks (Sketch Blue and Twisted Citron) on my craft sheet and using a mini mister, I spritzed the inks with water and then dragged my watercolor paper thru the inks. I let it air dry.  I also did the same technique to create the paper for the butterfly (Spellbinder die) after diecutting the butterfly, I added some clear Wink of Stella on the wings. The base of my card has a top fold and the card stock is kiwi colored, I think it is Bazzill.  It is the same paper I've used to frame out the Scripture using a Spellbinder Scallop Oval Nestabilities die.  It's a quick and easy card and I think this is one of my favorite color combinations!

Thanks so much for visiting!!

But may all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; may those who love Your salvation always say, "The Lord be exalted!"

  6. Oh, Natalie, what a precious Scripture verse and reminder that all things are passed through His sovereign hands. What a joy and encouragement! I love how you've framed this verse in the scalloped circle, and wow, do I love your background. What beautiful colors to make a stunning card! Hugs!
