Grace through Faith - Word Art Wednesday #32

Hello Delightful friends and family!
Hope you are having a fantastic week, it's been somewhat busy and it looks like it might get even busier.  My youngest daughter is having surgery on her hand on Thursday.  I pray she will get some relief from the pain and strength back in her hand.  She has carpal tunnel and some cysts that need to be removed.

Today the theme for Word Art Wednesday #32  is prayer. I've not used the Scripture art shared at WAW, but I've used a portion of this verse in Ephesians 2:8 ("For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.")
That one prayer of faith to become a believer in Jesus Christ starts the relationship and heals the breach between God and us. I can remember that moment and my life certainly changed with that one prayer of surrender.  I thank the Lord for that! I didn't deserve His unmerited favor we know as grace, I still don't deserve it, but praise the Lord it's not about me! Get to know the Lord by reading in Exodus 34:6 it is here the Lord proclaims to Moses some of his characteristics (merciful and gracious, longsuffering and abounding in goodness and truth)  His Word also declares that He does not change (Malachi 3:6) I am eternally grateful that I can pray and that the Lord is not going to mess with my head, but will equip me for His plan for my life and I know that it is for my good and His glory. That intimate fellowship called prayer, coupled with reading His Word can open up our spiritual eyes to see His activity in the circumstances of our lives. He cares for us!

This mixed media piece was done on an 8x10 canvas.  The background is a mix of Stazon Inks and Acrylic paint (Studio and Making Memories).

I took this picture on my porch at dusk so it's a little dark, sorry about that!

Other ingredients: Papers - Christy Tomlinson (She Art) and Echo Park (Hello Summer Collection); Stamps: Hero Arts (Butterflies) Lawn Fawn (Gnome Place like Home and Sally's ABC's) Ranger Dylusions (How Does Your Garden Grow); Ranger Stampers Anonymous (Mixed Media); Lace (KaiserCraft)

Thanks so much for visiting!

Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths.  Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.  Psalm 25:4-5
