Hello Delightful friends and family.  I'm getting this posted later than I wanted but Monday is a work day so I'm finally home and can concentrate on getting this challenge posted.  It's COLOR MONDAY at CHRISTIAN PAPER CRAFTS and some yummy colors are on the menu!!  Jennipher has done an outstanding job in creating a wonderful palette to challenge us with.  If you love to be inspired by color, I hope you'll play along and head over to the Creative Blog and link up!  We would love to see your project!

This shot shows how I've curled up the edges of the cut out flower that I've stamped.  I've popped it up with a dimensional, then added the button (BoBunny) and Cording bow (Darice).

Ingredients: DESIGNER PAPER: My Minds Eye, Stella and Rose line; CARD STOCK, Bazzill; STAMPS: Taylored Expressions, Much Appreciated (bonus set for Key Ingredient subscribers); INK: Memento, rich cocoa; Archival, Olive.  This card is pretty straightforward and not a lot of extra embellishing. I  used 2 different pieces of double sided coordinating designer paper.
Step 1: Cut base from darker green (4.25 x 11 and fold over to form base), cut designer paper (script)  an 1/8" smaller adhere to base; Cut light green card stock 4.75" x 3.5"
Step 2: Cut 3 pieces of coordinating designer paper 3"x1.5"  Adhere to the light green card stock.  I did the two ends first then added the middle piece last.  Stamp THANKS to bottom panel.
Step 3 Cut coordinating blue/teal card stock 2" x 3.25;
Step 4: Stamp STEM with Archival (Olive) Ink onto white card stock and cut out 1.75" x 3".  Stamp FLOWER onto pattern paper and cut out. Gently curl up edges of flower and adhere to the stem with dimensional.  Add button, adhere panel to the blue/teal card stock mat.  Finish the inside with sentiment.

That's it!  Hope you like it.  Lots of cutting with the trimmer but a simple design.  If I were to make another one, I'd probably do some stitching around the edges to add a bit of  interest and dry emboss one of the panels and perhaps add a bow or ribbon.
 Hmmm.... I think I may have to do another one of these!!

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.  1 Corinthians 1:18

Grace and peace to you this day!!
