Started to post this last night just under the deadline, but blogger was not allowing me to save my post let alone publish it so I missed out on a challenge that was about getting edgy (CAS-ual Fridays); the challenge was to tear, distress or use a punch to decorate the edge of your card or project. I just happened to see it posted on Tami Mayberry's blog and thought I'd give it a go. I had everything done and listed and then I got the BIG error message and had to give it up. So, I'm just going to share this with whoever decides to take a look at my blog and perhaps I'll play next week!
I've used the Martha Stewart border punch twice but you'll have to really look hard to see it in this picture. It doesn't show up quite as well in the photograph over the green satin ribbon.
Ingredients: Designer Paper: Basic Grey "Sweet Threads" and Bazzill card stock; Stamp set: Fourth of July Wreath from Taylored Expressions; Ribbon: TE Key Ingredients Kit; Buttons (my stash) Ink: Memento, tuxedo black.
I did not get to play but I do want to give credit to CAS-ual Fridays for the inspiration!
Be back later to post another card, I'm off now to our mid week Bible Study! God bless!
Just love it! Dont you just love the Basic Grey range! They have quite a few gorgeous collections atm. Have a blessed day and an enriching bible study :)
