Mothers and Friends Blog Hop sponsored by Christian Paper Crafts

Welcome to the Christian Paper Crafts Blog Hop featuring Mothers and Friends. If you'd like to join the hop just link your creation at the Creative Blog and then hop around and enjoy the members inspiration. Non-members are welcome, too!!

Sometimes we have friends who may not be our mothers but perhaps a mentor in our life that we are close to and would like to give them a card on that special day. So my card is focused in on that aspect. So, have fun let's get inky and share what you've created. There are some prizes, too!! Here is my card: True Friends Warm the Heart

Instructions:
Cut green base A2; Cut lavender card stock 1/8" smaller than base. Emboss with Cuttlebug folder. Use Spellbinders Nestie Standard Circle to make frame, using Distress Ink, Vintage Photo sponge around the edges. Using a piece of scrap paper duplicate the frame and use as a template for sponging color on a piece of white card stock that has been cut 1/4" smaller than the lavender card stock. I used Distress Inks: Antique Linen, Worn Lipstick and Peeled Paint. Stamp image over the blended ink (Taylored Expressions - Summer Afternoon set) with black ink (Palette). Adhere to the lavender cardstock and make sure the image is centered. Adhere to the base. Add pink tulle ribbon. Stamp sentiment (Gina K Designs - Thanks A Million! set) on pink card stock and mat with green add dimensionals and adhere to card. (All card stock is Bazzill)

Don't forget that this is the week to join us for free at Christian Paper Crafts!! The info is on my sidebar or as you begin the hop you will see all the info posted on the Creative Blog.

Today is Good Friday and I pray as you go throughout your day you will be thinking of the great price that was paid for your salvation through the death of our Savior Jesus Christ. I'm so glad that we celebrate His Resurrection!! Because He lives we can also live!! Praise the Lord.

All who call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved!

Blessings to you!
