I had some Fun on Friday on Monday...

I know, totally weird title but hope it got your attention!! I did have fun on Monday doing the Fun on Friday challenge, is that better? Well, let me try that again. I made two cards, one for the Fun on Friday challenge and another for the Wednesday CASE Artist challenge at Christian Paper Crafts. So, two cards. I had fun. On Monday....period! And here they are without further ado:

The challenge was to use numbers and a Scripture for the Fun on Friday.CPC-FOF69

The designer paper is JillyBean, DCWV - The Natural Stack, SU cardstock (white); Button is from Gina K Designs, Stamp is Our Daily Bread Designs and I used the Memento rich cocoa ink; EK Success photo corner scallop is the punch I used for the corner accent.

My second card:

CPC-WCA#67

This challenge was to choose someone from the Christian Paper Crafts gallery to "Copy And Share Everything" (case) I picked a card made by Candace and you can see her card if you go over to CPC and check out the post for Wednesday Case Artist. Mine is a little different, I added the picket fence and the flower is a little different and also the sentiment (Taylored Expressions - Care and Concern set). But I used the same papers as Candace and changed the color of ribbon. All the ingredients came from the Taylored Expressions Key Ingredient kit (October Afternoon Paper - Go Fly A Kite) and the punches are from Martha Stewart (fence) and EK Success (flower). I also used Spellbinders Nestabilities Label 6 and Memento Ink, rich cocoa.

Well, I did have fun! Hope you have been inspired to create something fun too!

Have a wonderful week! I'll be sharing another card tomorrow!!

PS. It was fun, too! :-) Tomorrows post I will try not to use the word fun (tee-hee)

  2. OOPS! I was so excited about telling you about the card you won...that I forgot to tell you how wonderful I think your cards are!

I love the natural--outdoors look to the first card. I just love cards with browns...and I LOVE that Scripture. It brings a calm to a tired or restless heart. This is wonderful!

And, I don't think I have ever seen so many dots and patterns in one place together...ANYWHERE! This is Fabulous! Congratulations, on doing such a good CASE. This looks like it was a tough act to follow. It is great, Natalie!
