Are You a Purple Lover?

Just as I thought.... here is my second post of the day/night! Three more challenges - this is so fun and challenging to get these done, yes the laundry is starting to back up, but who is telling? I'm the mom ;-)

Here is this weeks color challenge from Play Date Cafe.

Aren't they beautiful colors?

This week's prize...
Gift certificate worth $14
to The Artistic Outpost Store to be used for ONE UNMOUNTED STAMP PLATE.

Here is my first card for that challenge. The picture looks so washed out and I took at least 5-6 shots of it, perhaps the next pic you can get a better view of the colors. I love this paper from KaiserCraft's Lilac Avenue Collection, the cardstock is a light lime green from Bazzill. The sentiment is stamped on a light lilac cardstock from DCWV and the purple is from either Bazzill or Paper Accents (sorry, I've had it for a while and I'm not sure) Lace/Ribbon bow is tulle that I sprayed with "Fully Purple" Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels (you should have seen my fingers, when I finished!!) Stamp: Gina K Designs - (Botanical set) Ink: Distress Ink, Dusty Concord. Tools: Cuttlebug, Nestabilities Label 9. Technique: CAS

Card #1 (PDCC#38)

Card #2: CAS-tastic Wednesday Challenge #012
Use at least 3 of the following: 1. Stamped (or printed) Image 2. Inked Edges 3. Masking 4. Paper Piercing 5. Lace 6.Embossing

Their sponsor this week is One Stop Card Crafts!

Well here are my details for this card that meet the challenge (inked edges, paper piercing - the stems of the flower, embossing, and here's the stretch - tulle bow - tulle is actually considered fabric not lace but.... it's so pretty!) I was also inspired by CHRISTIAN PAPER CRAFTS Sketch Tuesdays challenge!

close up (you might be able to see the paper piercing on this one!)
