Happy 4th of July! Today in my Sunday School class we talked about the liberty we have in Christ to do what's right! Not the liberty to do what we feel like but the liberty to please the Lord by our actions! I am so thankful for the liberty we have in Christ. He has truly set us free from the bondage of sin and death. I can't thank Him enough, it's an honor to serve Him!
Here are two CAS cards that were my samples for the cards we made for some young men we know who are serving our country to protect our liberty. My thoughts and prayers are with our men and women serving in the Armed Forces, may God protect them!
I was blessed to be able to also use these cards for three challenges. The first card is for the Stamp TV Inspiration challenge from Brenda Turner.
I'm disappointed the picture isn't better to show off the Z-fold, it is so much cuter in person!
My second card is for the color (red and blue) challenge at Stampin' Sisters in Christ!
Both cards I've used the Z-fold technique (just like my last post) and the kids thought this was so cool! I kept the cards very simple since my time is very short in the class to get a lesson and a craft in and I was filling in for another teacher and had boys in the class and not sure of their skill level. But they did awesome!! They even knew who they were going to send their cards too!

SSCC#46 and CPC-FOF#60

Both cards qualify for FUN ON FRIDAY at CHRISTIAN PAPER CRAFTS!!

Details: Paper: Bazzill cardstock (cream, navy); Pattern paper - Pink Paislee (Starlight & Shine); Words: computer generated; Embellishments: Rhinestones, Kaiser; Tools: Fiskars decorative scissors, Marvy Uchida, scallop oval punch; Cuttlebug, Star embossing folder.

Thanks for looking and God bless!

  1. Hi Natlalie - what great cards you have made! I love the way you have used the colours - they are fabulous! The Z fold card is cool - I am going to have to check that technique out - there are a few in this weeks challenge already! Love it! It is a joy having you play along with us at Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge this week - hope to see you again next week! {{{hugs}}}

  2. Oh very pretty Natalie! I'm loving these Z fold cards, though I've never made one! I always look forward to your creations in our Stampin Sisters in Christ challenges! Thanks so much for your continued support!

  3. First time I have seen these cards. Love yours and will have to check them out myself. Thanks for sharing Natalie.

  4. Great use of the colors, and it is so neat to hear about what others are discussing in their Sunday School classes and at church. We talked on Independence Day about our Dependence on the Lord. :) Thanks for joining with us this week at Stampin' Sisters in Christ.
