I will also be sharing this card at the Daily Marker for the 30 Day Coloring Challange

The Scripture Art today  begins with " When I consider...." so I would just like to share a thought I had on that.  Have you considered the Creator, the works of His hands, how He has placed everything perfectly in our universe for us to live? It can truly be mind boggling if you start thinking about how everything works so perfectly. Also, "When I consider...." how much He loves me! (that's really mind boggling!) And yet, He has a purpose for me that He determined before the very foundation of the world. And He has a purpose for you as well.   It is up to us to begin to seek Him, get to know Him and then He begins revealing what His plan is for our lives.  Once we become a child of God it is easy to see His hand at work around us but can we see His hand at work in our lives?  He wants to be working in and through us so the question I have for all of us reading this is - Have you considered how the Lord is working in you and is it reflecting His Word and His Son, Jesus Christ?  Believe me when I say that these are questions I have asked myself, to examine my motives and actions.  To follow up, here is a verse that I've been "considering" and prayerfully meditating on in Ephesians 2:10 " For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Am I walking and imitating my Savior?  He has prepared a way for us to walk for His glory and our good and it's walking in love for the benefit of ALL. EVERY LIFE we come into contact with is valuable and precious in the eyes of God.  I hope and pray that I'm reflecting the Father's love and I hope that is your desire as well. We live in such perilous times and it's time to step up and walk in a Christ-centered love and make a difference to those around us.

Thanks so much for visiting and have an excellent week!

Summer Scene Birthday - 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hello Delightful friends and family!
I'm playing along with the 30 Day Coloring Challenge,   Bold and Bright Seize the Birthday Challenge  and  Simon Says Stamp create a scene Wednesday challenge with this card:

This is Harley the Dog from Whipper Snapper Designs that I've colored with Tombow Markers on Strathmore 140lb watercolor paper and the background is done with Peerless watercolors on Ranger watercolor paper.  The birthday sentiment is from the Darkroom Door Rubber Stamps called Brushed Sentiments.  I've colored the sentiment with Tombow Markers and then took a #2 brush and water to smooth it out on the Ranger water color paper.  The little hermit crab is from Lawn Fawn (sea critters)I've added Glossy Accents to the shell and the sunglasses.

Thanks so much for visiting today, have a fantastic week!  Hope to see you back on Wednesday for our Word Art Wednesday challenge (one of our sponsors this time will be Simon Says Stamp!)

Restore us, O God Almighty; make Your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.  Psalm 80:7

Empowered by God's Peace - Word Art Wednesday #238 and #239

Hello Delightful friends and family!
Hope all my USA friends and family had a fun day celebrating Independence Day!  We had a nice barbecue at our daughter's home, then went to our other daughter's home to see the fireworks!  Fun times!

Well it's time for our Word Art Wednesday Challenge (Anything Goes - Family Friendly).  This will be challenges #238 & 239.  Be sure and check out the other designers' cards for some creative inspiration!

Here is my card!  (sorry the verse is a little fuzzy)

I've stamped onto Arches 140 lb water color paper with Versamark and heat embossed with Ranger white embossing powder.  The stamp set is the Stamper's Anonymous stamp set called Flower Garden. I fussy cut the top part of the flowers and then popped them up with dimensional adhesive.
I've used my brand spanking new Zig Clean Color brush markers to color the flowers, my daughter got these for me for my birthday (thank you Amy!)
I am looking forward to giving this card away to a friend that is going through a rough time right now.  Her husband just found out he has stage 3 lung cancer last week and about a month ago she was laid off from her job.  Thankfully, her husband is a veteran and he can get his treatment locally which will be a huge blessing for them.  The Scripture on the card will be an encouragement to them both.  They are trusting Jesus to see them through this tough time.
It's so ironic that this past week in our ladies Bible study (Armor of God - Priscilla Shirer) we were on the verse that was about how our feet were to be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.  So our homework all week long was about "peace" and isn't that just like our Lord to work that out to encourage his children! The Lord is good! I suppose I shouldn't say "ironic" but "divine intervention".  God's peace passes understanding!
Here is the Scripture art that is free to use:

This weeks challenge sponsors are Paper Smooches and All Dressed Up!! So be sure and play along for a change to win one of the prizes!!

Thanks so much for visiting!!  Have a great week.
