Hope Abounds - Word Art Wednesday #46

Hello Delightful friends and family!
I know it's been a couple of weeks since I've posted anything at all but it's been a little busy with everything BUT playing in my craft room!  Thankfully it's not been all work but a little family fun has been in the mix, too.  The next week will be extremely busy with our friend (and visiting evangelist) who will be staying with us for the week, so I hope I can squeeze in a little bit of  craft time.
Here is a mixed media piece I did that came out of my personal Bible study time in the morning.  I was reading in Romans 15 and these words in verse 13 really spoke to my heart.  I have some friends going through a trial (many friends actually) and so I was moved in my heart to do this canvas using these words. Not sure if it's really good enough to give it to them but I'll pray about that!   At the end of this post I have the complete verse typed out.  I've entered this in the Word Art Wednesday Challenge #46

This canvas is 8 x 10 (Alvin Heritage brand) and I've used a lot of different acrylic paints and Dylusion Spray ink for the background. I've stamped on tissue and fussy cut the flowers and layered the large one.  The pink hexagon shapes are stamped with paint.

I cut this shape out with a Spellbinder Nestie Hexagon Die using chipboard and then the mosiac was created with eggshells, alcohol inks and sealed with Glossy Accents. I love how this turned out!  I'm working on a fall mosaic now. The tape I've used is 7 Gypsies and then I also stamped a pattern on tissue and cut a strip and adhered with Mod Podge.

close up of the texture using a Dylusions stencil and Liquitex Light Modeling Paste that I've used Studio paint (landscape) to add color to it.

Stamps used: Dylusions : Inbetweenies and How Does Your Garden Grow; Stampers Anonymous: Mixed Media set; Lawn Fawn: Sally's ABC's
Other ingredients: Dylusions Spray Ink; Stazon Jet Black Ink; Making Memories Acrylic Paints; white tissue paper; Sharpie fine tip pen (black).

Thanks for looking!
Just a reminder for you:  Your life may be shattered (just like the egg shells that I've used for the mosiac) but the Lord Jesus can pick you up and make something new and beautiful from brokeness.  He is faithful.  I hope you'll put your faith and trust in Him.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.            Romans 15:13
