Hello Delightful friends and family,
I was just introduced to a fun site from Nancy at Happy Heart Studio called Society of Stampaholics (although I'm still in denial) but I thought I could pass it on to you since there is a giveaway to check out! So go check it out!
Thanks for visiting...

Sweet Harmony - SSSC161 + Casting Call
Hello Delightful Friends and Family!
Hooray the weekend is upon us and wouldn't you know it, it's going to rain on Saturday, so glad I have plans indoors! But after the rain clears (and waters my plants and lawn/weeds) it's going to be sunny skies for the next few days, which means that we are going to have a warm 4th of July! Yay!! I've been watching the weather channel and seeing all the record breaking triple digit temperatures throughout the country. Makes me glad I live here in the fog soaked northern-est part of California. Praying that you all are being wise and staying hydrated.
Here is a second card I made for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I really like this sketch and I love this sweet Pure Innocence stamp set (My Favorite Things). At our church, I'm (besides the pastor's wife) the worship leader (keyboard and vocals) or as I prefer to be known as, the "lead worshiper" for our fellowship. It's one of those technicalities where you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him/her drink. But I can lead by example! Anywhoo.... didn't mean to get off topic... my daughter (for a short time) took violin lessons so this brought back a few memories!
I've paper pieced the dress and all the designer paper is from Authentique. The flower, button and ribbon are from various Key Ingredientient Kits (Taylored Expressions. The Fishtail Flags are a STAX Die-Namics from MFT. I've stamped the image (and sentiment) with Memento, Tuxedo Black ink and the image was diecut from Spellbinders Nestabilities Wonky Reverse Rectangles. I've used Antique Linen Distress ink to blend around the image. Our sweet image has been colored by Copic markers and the card stock used is the Neenah bright white and Bazzill c/s for the base.
After coloring her shoes with a Copic black marker, I used a Spica pen to accent the shoes, straps, her barrette and the violin bow.
I've used the Notched Border Die-Namics to cut out the music paper (Authentique) to keep with the theme. Isn't that a sweet sentiment?
Thanks so much for visiting and leaving a delightful comment!! It means a lot!
The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows not partiality and is always sincere. James 3:17

Live Laugh Love - Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #161
Hi Delightful friends and family!
Just sneaking a quick card in today, it's been pretty busy this week and I'm trying to get some of my "therapy"(ha!) in but my time has definitely been shortened this week. I can't believe it's already Thursday!
Here is a cheerful card using a fun sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #161. The Echo Park Hello Summer designer paper are from the Taylored Expressions Key Ingredient kit supplies which includes this month (available only to members) a stamp set called Delightful Day designed for the Whimsical Wishes Line by Nancy McKinney. The stamp pad color from Memento is the new Love Letters. I've used two dies (Die-Namics Fishtail Flags STAX and Spellbinders Nestabilities Deckled Rectangle).
I've double stamped the large flower and popped it up with dimensionals to spill over the diecut. The yellow gingham ribbon and the colorful buttons are the perfect colors to compliment the Echo Park paper and Bazzill card stock.
I'm also including this in the Word Art Wednesday challenge #34 this week.
Thanks so much for visiting!!

Pictures of a "Little bit of this and a little bit of that"
Hello Delightful friends and family! I've been busy with the camera the last couple of weeks (family, flowers & church kids) but not so fortunate to be able to spend much time at the craft table due to some other responsibilities so I thought I'd share some of my favs.
Princess Tucker Lynn (our youngest granddaughter enjoying a strawberry)
Still smacking her lips over that strawberry! Yum!!
Princess Riley and Princess Addy enjoying birthday cake & ice cream
Princess Addy all smiles as her friend Diaja drives the Ford pick-up at the birthday party.
The next few pics are of my Sunday School class making a mini booklet/folding card for their dad's on Father's day (these pics are for Savannah!) today we made some more for the 5 kids we sponsor at Compassion. We included pics of the area we live but unfortunately I forgot my camera, today.
3 of the 6 kids I teach (Grace, Ben and Courtney).
One of the pretty potted flowers in my backyard. This might be a Sweet William. I saw a hummingbird in the yard yesterday so I'm hoping the new flowers will be drawing them in, I would love to get some photos of them!
I made Jakob pose for me so I could get a picture of his cute freckles.
Princess Addy-tude giving me the "mean" look. Trust me it's just an act, she was all smiles earlier, but likes to be a tease. A big tease!
My new Hydrangea (that I forgot to water for about 3 days, thankfully it has fully recovered!)
Another potted plant (this is for Laurie U.) not the greatest picture but I want Laurie to see the color combination :-)
A ladybug taking care of the aphids.
A potatoe vine blossom that is growing up over the gate.
Some more pretties planted in a barrel. (I have all the names of the flowers on those little plastic stakes that come with them but they are outside and it's dark and I don't want to run into any skunks or the roaming raccoons out there!)
Thanks for looking!!

A Sweet Birthday!
Hello Delightful Friends and Family!
It's officially summer this week, hooray!! And of course here where I live, that means it's going to rain... yes, rain! My flowers and lawn are very happy but the campers, scheduled baseball games, and fair-goers are not feeling the joy today. It's downright cold. The kiddo's are bundled up and watching a movie and hopefully we will get a break and we will be able to go outside (but that's probably not going to happen today! boo-hoo) But I'll just reflect on my happy flowers and my green lawn weeds flourishing!
Here is a card I made and neglected to share. It's already been sent off and received by the birthday gal (Taylor) a week ago.
.
I love the sprinkles on the frosting, I used the Ranger Liquid Pearls (I have a large collection of them!) and don't they work perfectly with the paper (Simple Stories - Fabulous). The Stamp is from the set Build a Treat (Taylored Expressions) and I used the matching Dies to cut them with my Cuttlebug. The Buttons and all the paper are from the Key Ingredient Kits. Memento Tuxedo Black ink was used to stamp the sentiment and images. KaiserCraft lace was used to embellish and the Upper Crest Border Punch (EK Success) was used for added interest at the bottom edge
Thanks for looking and I hope you are having the start of an excellent weekend!!
"Am I a God at hand, declares the LORD, and not a God far away? Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the LORD. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the LORD." Jeremiah 23:23-24
Ps. I'm so glad that God is always near to those who love and respect Him. When we become His children through faith in Jesus Christ, He comes to live in us personally and cares about every aspect of our lives. Our connection with Him is immediate and intimate. It's a relationship not religious acts. The more we give ourselves to knowing and experiencing the reality of God's presence in our lives and experience the love He has for us, the more we want to please Him and get rid of obstacles that hinder our relationship with Him. To God be all the glory!

Blessed Mouse (MFT) - A Thank You
Hello Delightful friends and family,
Here is a card I made for a dear friend at church who always remembers my birthday. (Thank you, Betty!) She is a dear and our sweet little prayer warrior, she keeps us lifted up to the Lord daily and we appreciate that so much!
The cute stamp is from My Favorite Things called Mouse in the House "Blessed Mouse" I've also used the Die-namics Mini Tabs for the sentiment. Memento black tuxedo ink was used to stamp both image and sentiments.
I've colored this cutie with Copics and paper pieced her shirt with Echo Park (Hello Summer).
The ribbon, button and scallop die is from Taylored Expressions and the card stock is Bazzill. The hemp cord is Darice 20lb, bright (threading the button) I colored it with a Copic Marker.
Inside I've used the MFT Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX and then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set as above. I colored in the butterfly with Copics. The bottom scallop has repeated with the Echo Park paper and the TE scallop die.
That's all for me today, thanks so much for looking!!

Grace through Faith - Word Art Wednesday #32
Hello Delightful friends and family!
Hope you are having a fantastic week, it's been somewhat busy and it looks like it might get even busier. My youngest daughter is having surgery on her hand on Thursday. I pray she will get some relief from the pain and strength back in her hand. She has carpal tunnel and some cysts that need to be removed.
Today the theme for Word Art Wednesday #32 is prayer. I've not used the Scripture art shared at WAW, but I've used a portion of this verse in Ephesians 2:8 ("For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.")
That one prayer of faith to become a believer in Jesus Christ starts the relationship and heals the breach between God and us. I can remember that moment and my life certainly changed with that one prayer of surrender. I thank the Lord for that! I didn't deserve His unmerited favor we know as grace, I still don't deserve it, but praise the Lord it's not about me! Get to know the Lord by reading in Exodus 34:6 it is here the Lord proclaims to Moses some of his characteristics (merciful and gracious, longsuffering and abounding in goodness and truth) His Word also declares that He does not change (Malachi 3:6) I am eternally grateful that I can pray and that the Lord is not going to mess with my head, but will equip me for His plan for my life and I know that it is for my good and His glory. That intimate fellowship called prayer, coupled with reading His Word can open up our spiritual eyes to see His activity in the circumstances of our lives. He cares for us!
This mixed media piece was done on an 8x10 canvas. The background is a mix of Stazon Inks and Acrylic paint (Studio and Making Memories).
Other ingredients: Papers - Christy Tomlinson (She Art) and Echo Park (Hello Summer Collection); Stamps: Hero Arts (Butterflies) Lawn Fawn (Gnome Place like Home and Sally's ABC's) Ranger Dylusions (How Does Your Garden Grow); Ranger Stampers Anonymous (Mixed Media); Lace (KaiserCraft)
Thanks so much for visiting!
Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. Psalm 25:4-5

Royal Birthday
Happy weekend to all my delightful friends and family! Today we are celebrating Addy's birthday, she is turning 3 on Monday. Here is a card I made for our little princess granddaughter. She loves the movie Tangled so her party is a Rapunzel/Tangled theme. It's a double blessing because today is my birthday (I guess that would make me the "nice" queen NOT the wicked one) and my kids are cooking (barbecuing) tonight! No cooking and no dishes for me!
I've used the Taylored Expressions Stamps: Princess Penelope and Royal Digs (inside) and the Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Labels of Love. The designer paper is Echo Park (Hello Summer).
Inside of the card (her castle and sentiment)
Other ingredients: Spellbinders Oval Scallop (Nestabilities) and the medium scallop die (Taylored Expressions); Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Cantaloupe; Images colored with Copic Markers and the button (stash) Ribbon and card stock (Key Ingredient Kit - Taylored Expressions; White card stock (Neenah) Lemon Spica pen (crown, shoes and hair ribbon)
Current photos of her highness:
Thanks for visiting today!
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2
