Word Art Wednesday - Autumn Wishes

Hello Delightful Friends and Happy Autumn!!

Here in northern California, this is the best time of the year weather-wise.  It's cool in the morning and evening and beautiful during the day.  I love to be able to sit in the backyard and soak in the sun (vitamin D!!)  I definitely took advantage of my Saturday afternoon to do just that.  I haven't been able to do that for such a long time!
It's time for our Anything Goes - Family Friendly Challenge at Word Art Wednesday!   Our sponsor this challenge is Gina K Designs!!  I've use the Gina K Design Stamp & Stencil set called Autumn Wishes.  I love this set, it has trees, leaves, a flower, branches and some great sentiments (love the fonts but I've not used them on this card. Unfortunately it's no longer available 😞 There are other sets that are similar so be sure and check the store site. Great inspiration and LOTS of  instructional videos! Their holiday release is now available.

Here's my card for the challenge:

Other ingredients:
Stitched Hillside die (Lawn Fawn)
Inks: Taylored Expressions: Spearmint, Sweet Basis, Pumpkin, Candy Corn, Cinnamon, Mulled Wine, Raspberry Sorbet, Toffee.
Card Stock: Sugar Cube and Cinnamon (TE) and green (from stash)
Scripture Art : 2 Chronicles 15:7

Hope you'll visit us at Word Art Wednesday and join us with a new crafty creation.  You can upload 5 new projects per week to qualify for the prize. (check out the challenge site for all the particulars!)  The challenge runs for 2 weeks.

Word Art Wednesday featuring sponsor: Lawn Fawn

Hello Delightful Friends!

Time for another card to share for the Word Art Wednesday Challenge of Anything Goes - Family Friendly.  Our sponsor is the very popular and a favorite: Lawn Fawn.  Hope you'll join us this week and perhaps you'll win the prize! And definitely check all the fun product, inspiration and fun teaching videos!  If you need creative inspiration the Lawn Fawn  blog is the place to visit.

Here is my card:

I've used some older but very much loved dies from Lawn Fawn.  The Small Stitched Leaves die, and the Reversed Scalloped Rectangle Windows die, I've also used the 6x6 paper pad called Fall Fling. This card is my way of transitioning to Autumn cards although I'm having a hard time letting go of summer, right now we are having some beautiful weather, but I know sweater weather is on it's way!

The Scripture Art is from 1 Samuel 12:24 it's an admonishment to King Saul but it can sure speak to us, today! A good one to memorize and put into practice.

Thanks for visiting! God bless!
