Word Art Wednesday - Be of Good Cheer

Welcome Delightful Friends!

Hope you're getting ready to play along with Word Art Wednesday!  Stamp Simply is our sponsor for our challenge so be sure and check out the Stamp Simply store.  The store is filled with terrific inspiration and perhaps you will be a winner of the challenge prize, but you've got to play along to have a chance to win the gift certificate. The Stamp Simply brand of stamps and dies are so encouraging, lots of Scripture stamps and fun images.  

The challenge is Anything Goes - Family Friendly and you can upload 5 new projects a week (the challenge is for 2 weeks)  I've used our Scripture Art from John 16:33, which is a perfect verse right now in such troubled times!

  The books and key are a stamp & die set from Stamp Simply and is called A Man of Knowledge.  I colored the books using Prismacolor pencils and blended with mineral spirits, it's been a while since I've pulled out my pencils, I had fun making the books look a bit worn and antiqued.  

The key is part of the die set and it includes some fun gears too. The stamp set has some great sentiments and Scripture verses. This definitely favors the masculine side  but I'm looking forward to changing it up and perhaps adding some titles to the spines, I used to be a librarian, so I'm getting all sorts of ideas running through my head and am looking forward to playing with the set.

Word Art Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes - Happy New Year!

Hello and Happy New Year Delightful Friends!

We are starting off the new year in a big way!  There are some winners to be announced from the blog hop plus the sponsor prizes, Karen will be letting us know when the winners have been chosen.
