Annual Word Art Wednesday Blog Hop!!!

Hello Delightful Friends!

So excited for our annual Word Art Wednesday Blog Hop!  We have prizes at every blog but in order to win the prize you have to visit and comment on each blog.  The list of blogs to visit are at the end of this post and so is the photo of the prize.
In addition to the prizes at each blog we have two sponsors that you'll have a chance to win if you upload a crafty project at Word Art Wednesday.  Don't forget the challenge lasts for two weeks - it's Anything Goes - Family Friendly and you can upload 5 new projects to have a chance to win one of the sponsors prizes.(Stix 2 Anything (UK) AND Unity Stamps $25 x2  (US Sponsor) )

I'm sharing cards using a stamp/stencil set (Wreathed in Joy) from Taylored Expressions. Unfortunately the kit is no longer available but I think it's something you could probably find in your stash of stamps and improvise.
When I'm stuck for an idea I go to Pinterest and look for cards that I like and then see what I have in my collection that perhaps I can adjust to make it my own design take on it. Also it might only be one little element on the card that triggers the inspiration. There are so many fun cards with wreaths that can be rustic, modern, or a whimsical style.

Here are my cards (4 total using the same stamp and stencil)

 All 4 cards

Maybe there is one little design element on one of the cards that will inspire you today.  If so please share in the comment section.

Here is the list of blogs, just don't forget to leave a comment to so that you will be eligible to win!

Here's the prize from my blog:

Thanks so much for visiting and don't forget to leave a comment!

Merry Christmas!!

Word Art Wednesday - Stamp Simply

Hello Delightful Friends!

Our sponsor this week at the Word Art Wednesday is Stamp Simply!  Hope you join us at the challenge blog where Anything Goes - Family Friendly is of course the theme.  Be sure and check out all the inspiration!

Here is my slimline card:

I've used the following Stamp Simply items:
The stamp set (my embossed background and the word Grateful) is called Seasonal Wreaths (fall & winter) and the Fishtail Sentiment Banner Die.

I've stamped with Versamark and added white embossing powder, then heat set. The "Grateful" sentiment strip was also embossed, I love how it turned out on the green card stock. I've used a "Toffee" colored card stock and card base.

I die cut the Scripture Art using a blanket stitched die. I think it gives  the border a nice touch.  This was a pretty easy card even with the embossing. And the Scripture is perfect for the season.  The card can be stepped up a bit by coloring the leaves and pumpkins, but I like how it turned out.

 Thanks so much for visiting!

Word Art Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes/Family Friendly

Hello Delightful Friends!

Welcome Autumn!  My favorite time of the year.  I'm sharing a new Autumn card for our Word Art Wednesday Challenge.  It's an Anything Goes / Family Friendly challenge that runs for two weeks.
Our sponsor this time is Heartfelt Creations, art from the heart!  Share with us at Word Art Wednesday and be in the drawing for the sponsors prize.  You can link up 5 new crafty creations each week that the challenge runs!

Here is my card:

I've used a stencil set from Taylored Expressions Quad Stencil Club.  It's the last one for the club, which has been discontinued.  I've used quite a few ink colors and I'll do my best to remember them, I accidently deleted my photo of all the colors.  Here goes: Pineapple, Honey, Sweet Potatoe Pie, Cinnamon, Avocado, & Sweet Basil.
The green card stock is Sweet Basil. The white card stock is Sugar Cube.
All the colors are TE.
I've also used the blender brushes.

Here is the Scripture Art for the week:

Hope that you know that Jesus is our hope and the anchor of our soul!

Thanks for visiting and have a blessed week!

Word Art Wednesday Challenge with Gina K Designs

Hello Delightful Friends,

It's my favorite time of the year, end of summer into early fall.  So I decided for my card this challenge to make my first fall themed card. I love making Autumn cards.
I've used our sponsor Gina K Designs... stamp and stencil set called Autumn Wishes, unfortunately it's now retired.
Hope you'll join us at Word Art Wednesday for the challenge of Anything Goes - Family Friendly.
Thanks to Gina K for being our sponsor, be sure to go to the website and check out the blog and store, I promise you will be inspired!

Here's my card:

I've used an assortment of inks to make this background (all Taylored Expressions)
Candy Corn, Mango, lemon meringue, Sweet Basil, Cilantro and Granny Smith.
I've used Toffee card stock and the yellow card stock I believe is Banana Cream.
The background piece I've popped up using dimensional strips, the Scripture Art piece background is die cut by the Stitched Rectangle set by Lawn Fawn.

Scripture Art from Psalm 33:21 - you can upload the Scripture Art and use if you'd like!

Thanks so much for visiting!  Have a wonderful week.

Hello Delightful Friends!

It time for this weeks Word Art Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes-Family Friendly!  Our sponsor this week is Pink & Main ($20).  Check out their blog and store and get inspired!!

I kept my card very simple with the Scripture Art being the focal point.  A great verse to memorize from Romans 8.Such a powerful verse to get down in your heart and be fully persuaded that nothing can separate you from the love of Jesus Christ. You will know the truth and the truth will set you free!

Ingredients:
Kite die is called Let's go fly a kite (Taylored Expressions)
Designer Paper: Doodlebug Designs Fairy Garden
Card stock :  Mango, Blue Raspberry, Blueberry and Sugar Cube.
Stitched Edge Die (not sure who makes this one and I'll have to wait until I go to work and see what it is because I left it there with my other crafty stuff.) I'll have to update this if I remember πŸ’š

Thanks for visiting, I hope you'll play along with us, so be sure and check out the Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog.  We have a new challenge and sponsor every 2 weeks!

Blessings!

Word Art Wednesday - Praise His Name Forever and Ever

Hello Delightful Friends!
Hope you are enjoying a blessed summer day!  It's time for our bi-weekly challenge at Word Art Wednesday.  Don't forget the theme is Anything Goes - Family Friendly.  I have chosen the stamp set called Have a Cup on Us (Stamp Simply). I actually bought the bundle which includes the coordinating die set.  I thought I might use one of the dies, but I changed my mind because the focus is the Scripture Art from Psalm 145.
I did a tone on tone stamping technique using Toffee ink, the darker stamped images, I double stamped and then used Versamark and clear embossing powder to give a little more texture.  This is a fun stamp set by Stamp Simply who happens to be our sponsor this challenge!
I did a blending ink technique around the Scripture that was cut out by a Stitched Rectangle Die (Lawn Fawn), I used blending brushes (Taylored Expressions).  For a pop of color I added a red small polka dot paper to border the Toffee Card Stock (Taylored Expressions). I like being able to use all or most of the stamps in a set to create a background. I used dimensional tape to pop up the Scripture.

I've used this stamp set in two other posts so if you are looking for "coffee card" ideas check out HERE and HERE.

Scripture Art can be used in the challenge if you'd like and it's free to upload!

Thanks so much for visiting!!

other ingredients:
Image stamped with Earl Grey ink (TE)
Card Stock: Banana Cream. Fruit Punch, Sugar Cube
Liquid Pearls
Copics

I colored with Prismacolor Pencils (list of colors and other "ingredients" at the end of this post.) I've used that same stamp to make  this pretty magnolia background.  The sentiment is from the stamp set called Mini White Spendor Anemone which I stamped with the Altenew Crisp Ink - Permanent Black.

Word Art Wednesday Challenge - All A-boat You

Hello Delightful friends!

I had fun designing this card with the help of Lawn Fawn!  So you know, it's time for our Word Art Wednesday Challenge - Family Friendly/Anything Goes!  And of course our sponsor this week is Lawn Fawn - yippee!!  Love their products and their fun videos...fun, fun, fun!
This card uses the stamp set called Smooth Sailing and I love this sentiment.  I thought it would be perfect for Mother's Day especially if she loves sailing, the beach or visiting lighthouses. Living here on the coast all of those activities are available. 😊
I did used multiple techniques to create this card which included: paper piecing, fussy cutting, distress inking edges and diecutting.  I don't have the dies to this stamp set so I had to cut out the boat and the lighthouse.  I paper pieced the sails and the flag on the boat with the Lawn Fawn 6x6 pad called Polka In the Meadow, I used the paper to die cut the stitched circle and then cut out strips for the "rays". I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside border dies to create the ocean waves and the sand.  On the blue card stock I inked the edges to give a bit of depth and then stamped the little waves in blue and one in white that is closer to the shoreline.  In the sky I've stamped three birds and I've colored the boat and the lighthouse with PrismaColor pencils.

Other Ingredients:
Card Stock: Gumball, Toffee, Sugar Cube (Taylored Expressions)
Inks: Gumball & Sugar Cube (TE); Jet Black (Altenew)
Glossy Accents (on galley windows on the boat and the windows on the lighthouse)
Stencil brush (TE)

This is the Scripture Art that is perfect for Mother's Day and it's free to use - head over to the Word Art Wednesday Blog and grab yours!

Hope you'll join us at Word Art Wednesday and share your "Anything Goes" creations!

Have a blessed week and thanks for visiting.

Word Art Wednesday Challenge - Warm Hugs!

Hello Delightful Friends!

Word Art Wednesday Challenge (Anything Goes - Family Friendly) is here already!  I can't believe how fast the last 2 weeks have gone.  Last time I posted we were experiencing snow, well that continued a little longer but now we are having an atmospheric river!  Which means a very heavy rain causing flooding and because it's a warmer rain, it melts the snow and causes even more flooding!  The fields I drive by when going to work are under water.  Maybe this will lessen the drought California is experiencing.  We can hope!

Back to Word Art Wednesday and the challenge, here is my card this week.  Our sponsor is Crafty Individuals (UK).  Check out their site HERE They have some very cool, contemporary collage stamps.

Here is the featured Scripture art I used this week:

The other ingredients I've used are Taylored Expressions Cozy Winter stencil and clear stamp combo (sentiment and mittens) and matching dies. The paper is from Photo Play called Crafting with My Gnomies (6x6 pad)
Inks: Lime Zest and Poblano Pepper (TE).  Darice Hemp Cord. TE Blender Brushes.

Well that's it for me!  Thanks so much for visiting.
Hope you share your crafty creations with us at Word Art Wednesday.

Word Art Wednesday - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello Delightful Friends!

I live in northern California, near the coast with very mild weather year round and we are experiencing snow!!  I know it's winter and snow is not unsual during the winter for others but I live really close to the coast and we just don't get snow, but we got snow and it's supposed to snow again tonight.  It is so cold.... I know I sound like a wimp.  I enjoy looking at snow from my warm house, but I do not like to drive in the snow, I like to feel my fingers and toes, you know???  I'm going to have to invest in some much warmer clothes⛄
So I'm thinking Spring...  it's less than 3 weeks until Spring... can't wait.
It's also time for the Word Art Wednesday Challenge (Anything Goes - Family Friendly) and I'm excited to use our sponsor Pretty Pink Posh's stamp and dies (Love Balloons) I love this cute set, it has balloons shaped in the letters L-O-V-E  and adorable critters.  I colored this bunny using Prisma-color pencils and stamped on pattern paper and then die cut the heart shaped balloons. Other ingredients include Pattern Paper (Lawn Fawn - Spring Fling 6x6 pad). Taylored Expressions Die and Earl Gray ink.

Below is the Scripture Art for this weeks challenge.  You don't have to use it but we love it if you would. Go to Word Art Wednesday and grab it and share your creation with us.

Remember you can share 5 different new crafty creations each week the challenge runs for a chance to win the prize from our sponsor Pretty Pink Posh!

Thannks so much for visiting!  Stay Warm!!

Word Art Wednesday Challenge - Joyful, Patient and Faithful

Hello Delightful Friends!

I have my card ready for the Word Art Wednesday Challenge (Anything Goes - Family Friendly).  We have one of our favorite sponsors for the challenge:  Stamp Simply!! Yay!

Here's my card and I've used the Stamp Simply Have a Cup on Us. The sentiment "Blessings" comes from the Seasonal Wreath (Fall & Winter).  I used the Scripture Art on the inside of the card.
I've colored with PrismaColor Pencils (the rose cup, the pink polkadot cup and the pink striped cup)  I did the paper piecing techmique on the other 3 cups.  The ink I've used is Versafine Sepia.

The Scripture Art was printed on vellum and I adhered it to a light pink piece of card stock. What a great and simple message.  Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer.

Check out the challenge blog for a chance to win the prize from Stamp Simply!  They have an awesome online store and so much inspiration  on their blog.  Remember you can upload 5 new projects, that's 10 new projects each challenge.

Have a blessed day!! Thanks for visiting.

Word Art Wednesday Challenge - Psalm 139

Hello Delightful Friends!

Congrats to Carrie Sherridan who won the prize from my blog and thanks to all of you who left comments and played along with the Word Art Wednesday Bloghop!

Hope you are getting a chance to get crafty, I've been so busy with life that I've been having a hard time getting into my craft room.  I got a new Minc laminator for Christmas and haven't even had a chance to get it out of it's box and play with it! Hopefully, I can get a managable schedule and start really playing again.  My craft room is calling my name 😊

I did get a card together (I have a table of crafty goodness on a table at work) just in time for our Word Art Wednesday Challenge (Anything Goes - Family Friendly) We have a terrific sponsor:  Avery Elle ($25)!!
I have so many of their stamps and dies and these I've used in this card are a couple of favorites.  (Unfortunately the stamp set Framed Florals and Diagonal Stripes die are no longer available, I should have checked before I made the card.)

I stamped a couple of the flowers and the leaves and colored them with Prismacolor pencils and used mineral spirits to blend the colors, then fussy cut them out. I chose the heart paper (Taylored Expressions) and cut to fit behind the die cut card stock.  The Scripture Art is from Psalms 139.  The line "And know my heart" inspired the pattern paper in the background.

Well that's it for me!  Thanks for visiting and God bless!

Happy New Year - Word Art Wednesday Challenge

Happy New Year to my Delightful Friends!!

Thanks for all the sweet comments from the Blog Hop!!  I hope to respond back to each of you.  It's been a little crazy, we had a pretty big earthquake here in northern California, then we've been out of town visiting our daughter's family and had all the grandkids under one roof!!  Fun times. Lots of great food, dirty dishes😊 and enjoying our family time.

Hope you all are ready for a new year of fun crafting challenges.  I just got a peek of all the new sponsors for this year and I know you will be excited.
This week our sponsor is Seth Apter Art and Design, if you are into mixed media you've got to check out this website.  If you've never played or experimented with mixed media, this may be the year to try it.  It is a great way to get creative with some really fun mediums.  So be sure and check out Seth Apter and get inspired!

Here is my card using the Scripture Art for this weeks challenge.  We'd love for you to use the digital art but you are definitely not required to use it.  If you'd like to grab it head over to Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog. Don't forget this is an Anything Goes/Family Friendly challenge and you can enter 5 new projects each week the challenge runs.

I love this "new to me" background stamp, I've actually had it for a couple of months but hadn't used it yet.  It is part of a kit from Taylored Expressions called Friendly Filigree.  I've cut out the Scripture using a Spellbinder label Nestabilities.  It's an older one....  The ink I've used is Memento Teal Zeal.
So, this background stamp also has an area that is blank (in the center) to add a sentiment and I have the matching die and sentiments that fit the area.  I plan to make a bunch of Thank you cards and may even emboss the ink to dress it up. I think it would be a nice touch.
If I have time I'll post those cards later on in the week.

Thanks so much for visiting!  I haven't heard who won the prize from my blog but it's supposed to be posted at the Word Art Wednesday Blog January 4th. I'll update this blog if I find out who the winner is.

God Bless,

Natalie  πŸ’“
