Call Unto Me - Word Art Wednesday Challenge

Hello Delightful Friends!

Hope this finds you feeling well and in good health!  Still on the Stay in Place mandate, little openings here and there for the small businesses, which I think is giving people a little hope that there will be an end to this soon.  Our county statistics were shared yesterday: 135,558 population,  86 cases, 59 recovered, 25 active and 2 deaths (one was a 97 year old not sure of the age of the other person but they were elderly).  We need to pray for those who are so vulnerable, not just the elderly but those suffering from depression, too.

I hope that you are digging into God's Word for hope and inspiration to get through these tough times.  The Scripture Art on my card is certainly a good one to cling to.  If you would like this digital art go to Word Art Wednesday this week and grab it, it's free.  The verse is this weeks Scripture art that the design team is using and it's perfect for the times we are living.  We need the Lord to answer and show us great and mighty things! We have to humble ourselves and call to Him.  He has the answers.

Art Glitter is our sponsor this week ($50) will be the prize for one blessed winner!  But you have to play to be able to have a chance of winning.  You can share your new crafty projects (up to 5 a week) at Word Art Wednesdays Anything Goes - Family Friendly Challenge. This is a two week challenge.

I've used the Doodle Flowers Background stamp by Taylored Expressions, colored with Karin Brushmarkers and a waterbrush to blend. The die is a scalloped oval Nestabilities die from Spellbinders, popped up with dimensional adhesive squares. I've matted the watercolor paper with a dark blue card stock.

Thanks for visiting! God bless.

Happy Mother's Day card for Word Art Wednesday

Hello Delightful friends,
Just a quick note to share a card for our Anything Goes/Family Friendly challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Our sponsor this week is Pink and Main.  They have some really cute stamps and dies and about 4 pages worth of sales!  Really good buys of the stamp and die sets.  Definitely check it out!  Thank you Pink and Main for being our sponsor.  Don't forget to checkout Word Art Wednesday and play along, maybe you will win!!

Here's my card:

I've used the new Scribbled Rose background stamp from Taylored Expressions and Oxide Distress Inks (worn lipstick, wilted violet, shaded lilac, peeled paint and bundled sage). Cottage Cutz die (Nested Stitched Scallop Die set); ribbon and violet button.
Our Scripture art is from Proverbs 23:25.

Have a great week and hope you moms have a wonderful Mother's Day!
