Sympathy Card

Hello Delightful Friends and Family

I know that we don't like the reality that comes with making sympathy cards but they can bring wonderful comfort to those who are grieving over a loved one.  It's an opportunity to express love and care during a time of loss.  We have a friend who recently lost her father and so I've made this card.  It's CAS but I think it is very tasteful for the occasion.  Unfortunately, I have another one I'll be making.  Our dear friend Rosie went on to be with the Lord on New Year's Day, she was a very faithful member of our church who had quite the battle with cancer, but we have the hope of seeing her again!  It's tough for us to let go but God is faithful to comfort the brokenhearted. Thank you, Jesus.

I'll be sharing  this card at Word Art Wednesday (Anything Goes #114)
and Paper Smooches Sparks (Anything Goes)

I've used the Sentiment Sampler (Paper Smooches) and for the background on gray card stock is a background stamp from Prima Marketing.  I've used Bazzill card stock and Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The die is from Spellbinders and I've embellished with two dots of Liquid Pearls (peacock color)

Well that is it for me today.  Thanks for visiting!

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.  Psalm 16:11

  4. Hi Natalie. It's never fun to have to create a sympathy card, and I'm so sorry for your loss. But what a delightful card to reassure the family of your love and concern. My thoughts are with you, friend.
