Let the Sun Shine, let the Sun Shine in...

Hello Delightful friends and family!

We are on day two of sunshine here in northern California (the real northern California, I have to add!) We are six hours north of San Francisco and still in California.... can you say ah-ha, that is north! And there is still two hours of driving left to get into Southern Oregon! I'm excited beyond belief that the mud puddles are drying up and we can actually mow the lawn, yahoo!! I hear the lawn mower even as I type.

So, it is definitely time to bring out the barbecues and invite the neighbors over. As my dh always says "if you want friends, you need to make yourself friendly" so I've made an invitation to be neighborly and invite the family next door over for a barbecue! I was inspired by by two challenges. The first one is from Play Date Cafe's color challenge this week and be sure and check out their celebrity guest designer, Courtney Baker, she is the owner and creator of Practicing Creativity stamps.

Raspberry, Aqua, Kraft & White!! Pretty colors! And I was definitely inspired by this Basic Grey paper!

Can you can see how I popped up every other lantern that is paper pieced?

The second challenge is from the That's Krafty Thursday the challenge to use kraft in a card at the Spotted Chick's Blog. Definitely take a look at all the inspiration over there!

Speaking of barbecue's I've got to run! We are heading out to our granddaughters first birthday party and it's a BBQ!! See you later and thanks for looking! Have a blessed day.
