Hello Delightful friends!

Welcome to the Word Art Wednesday Holiday Blog Hop and December Anything Goes Challenge. I have a card to share at the end of this post so be sure and read all the way down.
I'm just so glad you are here. Be sure and leave a comment on this blog to qualify for the prizes given away here. There are other prizes to win along the blog hop so be sure and visit the other blogs and leave a comment.  Unfortunately due to postage costs this is only for USA participants.

Here is the list of the blogs you'll be visiting:

Natalie Houston *it's me!*

Karen Letchworth  (thank you Karen for getting this blog hop together!)

Prize package #1 from our generous sponsor:  Emma's Paper

Prize package #2 (sneak peek of my giveaway and I plan to add some more goodies!)

Here is my card using the Seasonal Wreath Stamp Fall & Winter set from Simply Stamp for our Anything Goes Challenge!

Card Directions:
First, I stamped my wreath, then stamped the Christmas swag using brown ink. (the set comes with an autumn swag, too) I used the Karin Brush Markers to color the poinsettia, leaves and ribbon.
I then used my Koi watercolors to create the background (wet on wet technique).  After it dried, I used the gold Liquid Pearls to embellish the wreath berries.  The Scripture Art was printed on vellum and added to the lower half of the watercolor paper.  The gold striped paper was cut 5.5 x 1" and added to the white card base then I added the focal front panel.  The "Blessings" sentiment is also from the Seasonal Wreath set and was stamped with black ink on white paper and matted on to green cardstock.

Don't forget to leave a comment to win!
There will be two winners on January 5!

Thanks for visiting!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  10. The wreath is absolutely beautiful (an item on my wishlist). I love the way you shared the scripture in this layout. Is a particular type of printer required for printing on vellum?

Thank you for sharing a new idea. Have a blessed Christmas!

    1. Thanks for the question. I send my Scripture Art file to our local printer to print out on a laser printer but I've printed with an inkjet too, you just have to make sure it's dry if you do so it doesn't smear.
