CPS - Day 8: Gardening Cookie says Hello

Hello Delightful Friends and Family!
It's time again for a Card Positioning System Anniversary Card Challenge.  Here is my day 8 (yikes I'm so behind!!) and it's sketch #102.  I may have to do a remake and get a heart in the next one, it's a great sketch and it will be fun to do.  Lori Craig has a great sample for us at CPS.  So be sure and check it out and see the fun sponsors and prizes that will be given away.
I chose Gardening Cookie from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  Korin has a fun line of digitals, I love coloring Cocoa and Cookie!

CPS#102

This is my being too lazy to type out all the Copics I used, although it probably took longer to arrange them, take the pic, crop and upload!  Go figure!

Other ingredients include:  Designer Paper: Crate Paper, Paper Heart; Card Stock, Bazzill (paper from my January 2012 Key Ingredient Kit, Taylored Expressions); Stamp: Taylored Expressions (sentiment) Bugabee set; Ink: Memento, Tuxedo Black; Ranger Liquid Pearls (buttercup), Distress Inks: tumbled glass and shabby shutters; American Crafts,Crochet Flowers; Spellbinders Nesties, Deckled Rectangle; Dotted Swiss Embossing folder, Cuttlebug (ProvoCraft); HP printer.

As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect.   Psalm 18:30-32

Have a blessed day!  Thanks for looking and I love reading your delightful comments!

Family Stuff

Hello Delightful Friends and Family!
Ok, probably just family will appreciate this post but I thought it would be fun to share.  Last night I went to my niece Darby's basketball game (she's a junior in High School) and was so excited to finally get to watch her play and actually get some good action shots for her scrapbook I'm doing.

This went in for two! Way to go, Darby!

Getting ready for the rebound!

Okay this is my oldest daughter Amy (affectionately known as Mimi to my grandbabies) and my youngest daughter Kelly (aka mommy to Jake and Addy).  We all went to the game!  I should have gotten a pic of my mom, too.  She doesn't miss a game!

Even Jakob and Addy enjoyed the game and goofing off with "Mimi!

It's definitely a family affair, the coach is my "little" or rather younger brother Dustin (just a head taller than the varsity team)  my sister-in-law was there, too but sitting behind me and so was my cousin Jan and my Aunt Linda to support the team.

Mimi and Addy cuddling up for a picture after the game.

Btw, Darby's team won by a landslide! So it was a good night all around.

Hey There! CPS Anniversary Day 7 card & TPE

Hello Delightful Friends and family!
Hope this day is finding you well.  I'm learning to be thankful for God's divine interventions (aka interruptions!).  I'm sure you all can relate to interruptions (big and small) but how many of us really want to be thankful and accept them as part of God's divine plan for our lives?  Just a little thought for the day for you!!  There is a study by Priscilla Shirer that is titled "Jonah, Navigating A Life Interrupted" and I just finished day one, so we will see what other tidbits I can share with you all as I do this weekly study and homework!

Here is the sketch for day 7 of the anniversary celebration at Card Positioning Systems and I'm sneaking in another color challenge (to use pink) at The Pink Elephant #134 which is also celebrating their 3rd birthday (Congrats to Lori Boyd of By Lori Designs!).

CPS#242

As you can see (at least I hope you can!) I've flipped the sketch, I was having a real challenge with this one for some reason!  But here it is:

Digi stamp Gretchen (how cute is she!) from the Bug & Roo Collection by Hannah Boyd (By Lori Designs) the sentiment is Taylored Expressions from the Labels of Love set.
I'm still so new to coloring with Copic markers and hair is such a challenge for me to get highlights just right and subtle cheek color!  I really need to take a class but I know a lot of it is practice and there are a lot of great YouTube tutorials available, I just need to find time to do both!

Here are the Copics I've used.

Other ingredients:  Designer Paper: Echo Park (Yours Truly); Card Stock: Bazzill and Neenah.  Spellbinders Nestabilities Deckled Rectangle, Cuttlebug (ProvoCraft); Heart punch (unknown); Hinge Clip (Tim Holtz idea-ology line); Ribbon, American Crafts; Memento Tuxedo black ink; HP printer.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:33-34

Thanks again for visiting and leaving a delightful comment, it always is a blessing!
